Hey wine lovers! It has been a hot minute since we went on vacation and I have been sick. We just got back a few weeks ago so I figured I would fill you in on our MAGICAL vacation.
Disney as adults is such a fun thing! It is definitely a foodie spot with lots of delicious treats and places to eat. We did have a purpose though; my two younger sisters were going for their high school band trip. This was a fun way to meet up and see them perform. We did the four parks in three days. This will be broken up into three separate posts. I am going to focus on food and drinks from each park 😉
Magic Kingdom – MK is the one park that doesn’t really serve alcohol. It is also the park with the most kids and “kiddie” rides. Don’t let that stop you though! This park is so fun because there are fun rides and great spots for cute pictures and yummy treats. Our favorite rides at MK were The Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and The People Mover. Our day was so busy at MK that we did not really get to have a sit down meal. However, we did get a couple treats. We got the nutella fruit waffle at the Sleepy Hollow stand and we got Dole Whip from Aloha Isle. Both are amazing, satisfying treats. We had so much fun and enjoyed meeting up with my sisters this day! Be prepared to walk a lot and make sure you pack comfortable shoes. We were absolutely exhausted but stayed for the Happily Every After show. It was an amazing light show on the castle with great fire works. It really was a magical day!

Animal Kingdom – This was probably our second favorite park. We combined this park with Hollywood Studios but I kinda wish we would have nixed Hollywood and just stayed at AK. We got there right when the parked open and rode the rides we wanted to quickly then hung out for lunch. Our favorite spot was the Nomad Lounge. This is a great place to grab a bottle of wine and relax in the middle of the day. They serve tapas plates which were perfect to share. We enjoyed a bottle of Chenin Blanc with the Artisan Cheese Board and The Breads. It was the perfect lunch. Our favorite ride in AK would have to be, Avatar Flight of Passage. It was an amazing ride. It might have been our favorite ride the whole trip! We also enjoyed the Kilimanjaro Safari and Expedition Everest! This park was great because it wasn’t too crowded and we got to sit down and enjoy wine and the beautiful scenery.

There you have it! A peek into our vacation. More to come in the following days, can’t wait to share! Have you ever gone to Disney as an adult? Comment below to let me know!
Cheers, Paige
I love that Nutella snack! It’s one of my favorites!
