Brambly Park is the newest addition to Historic Scott’s Addition. This urban winery is an oasis in the midst of the city. Dog friendly and family friendly make this your go-to summer spot.

Not only is it a winery, but also a full service restaurant and event venue. The wine is sourced from grape juice that comes from their partner vineyards in Virginia, California, Oregon, Spain, and South America. Their wine list currently consists of a Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Nior, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Brambly is also currently serving food from their picnic menu which consists of a variety of platters, salads, and sandwiches to enjoy with your beverage of choice. Make sure to check out the fries! Even though this is an urban winery, they sell beer, craft cocktails and even more wine! Their full restaurant menu will be debuted in July.

Their space is quite impressive. You have the indoor restaurant, covered outdoor patio and then the park with an adorable lawn. All of this is designed to look and sound like a train station… so fitting since trains pass right by!

Zach and I sat outside in their park area while snacking on their cheese platter, enjoying (a couple) bottles of wine, and listening to their live music. We already have plans to go back this weekend since we had such a fun time!
* Sips and Trips Tip * Make a reservation! It is quick and easy and can be done online from their website.
We visited during Phase 2 of COVID Restrictions but starting July 1st, Virginia will be in Phase 3. I’m not sure what that will look like for Brambly, but I do believe they will be opening their restaurant for indoor dining.
Cheers, Paige
